1- New way to share content between clients
This guide outlines the necessary steps to share content with another Starlings client.
First, Starlings needs to be informed about the commercial agreement previously developed between the clients so that the connection between them can be enabled on the platform, thus allowing the management of configurations.
A- Configuration by the content owner
B- Configuration by the content recipient (Idweb or sales channel)
A- Configuration by the content owner
Within the Servicing section, go to "Yield Points of Sales" where you can create or edit a new rule to share content.
- To create a new rule, click on "Yield new point of sale."
1. Select the POS to share.
2. Configure allowed routes: this can be the origin and destination airport, country of origin and destination, country of origin to an area, or by flight type. Add as many conditions as desired by clicking on "Add route."
3. Complete the Client Code and Idweb of the recipient (previously configured by Starlings to display this information).
If the content is not active (on the recipient's side), the content owner can modify the rule's conditions.
B- Configuration by the content recipient (Idweb or sales channel)
The Idweb owner can view shared content within the "Query Providers" section using the "Yielded content" filter.
If a green checkmark appears in the "Content status" column, it means that the content owner has prepared and configured the material to be activated by the recipient. The "Active" column shows whether the recipient has activated the content or not.
For the content to be fully available, both columns must be activated.
