The general void policies for each point of sale are configured in advance during its creation. If you are not familiar with the general policies, please consult the support team.
If the Consolidator needs to set a specific rule by provider/airline, According to market conditions; they can configure the corresponding void policy in just a few steps by accessing Servicing, in the 'POS void policy overrides' section. This function is available exclusively to users with the 'Consolidator admin' role.
Step 1:
In Servicing, select "POS void policy overrides."
Step 2:
Click on "add void policy override."
Step 3:
Enter the required information: Provider, airline, and VOID policy.
Then select "SAVE" to save the changes.
The variables to be selected according to provider, airline, and market (ARC/BSP) are as follows:
- NONE: void not allowed.
- MDNT: allows void until midnight (23:59) of the day the issuance was made.
- HS24: allows void within 24 hours of issuance.
Finally, you will be able to view all the policies loaded by the consolidator in the list.
Please note that VOID policies configured either at the general level or by airline will enable the "cancel & void" option from the booking details in Wings.
After the void policy period has passed, the only option will be to refund the ticket (if the ticket allows it).
