To add an ancillary, select the "ancillaries" option on the toolbar to the right of the flights (option 3 in the image below).
The ancillaries option will display a pop-up window with the available ancillaries. Let's see how to add an extra baggage.
In the pop-up window, you must select the ancillary you want to add. In this case, we will choose "Extra baggage." Then, you should select the type of baggage you want to add for each segment of the trip and for each passenger.
The new window will show the number of pieces included in the current fare (e.g., 0PC) and a dropdown for each flight segment.
To select the type of baggage to add, you need to expand the dropdown and make the selection. There, you can view the allowed baggage types and their respective prices.
Once you have selected the baggage for each segment of the trip, click the "Confirm" button to confirm the selection. Next, a summary of the added ancillaries and their respective costs will be displayed.
Finally, close the window and verify that the ancillaries button on the action toolbar shows a green checkmark, indicating that the selection has added ancillaries. If you want to remove them, click on the red "X" located next to the "Ancillaries" button.
Complementary services are added to the purchase of a plane ticket at an additional cost to personalize the passenger experience.
Please note that the confirmation of these services is subject to availability at the time of the ticket issuance.
How to quote and add ancillaries?
To add an ancillary, select the "Ancillaries" option in the button panel to the right of the flights (option 3 in the image below).

To select the type of baggage to add, expand the dropdown menu and choose the desired option. You will be able to see the permitted types of baggage and the price for each one.
Once you have selected the baggage for each leg of the trip, click the "Confirm" button to finalize your selection. You will then see a summary of the added ancillaries and their costs.
Finally, close the sale and check that the "Ancillaries" button in the action bar displays a green checkmark, indicating that ancillaries have been added. If you wish to remove them, click the red cross located below the "Ancillaries" button.
How to Confirm Ancillary Issuance?
It is crucial to ensure that the EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) is issued along with the ETK (Electronic Ticket) as they are processed simultaneously.
If the EMD has not been confirmed by the airline and/or the status is RQ (Request) or PN (Pending) in the servicing section, the reservation does not include the extras. This information can also be re-confirmed with the provider.
If the agency needs to complete the service, it will need to re-quote the ancillary and book it directly through the GDS/portal using the issued flight ticket.
- From the reservation details in Wings, you will be able to view the status of the booked ancillaries.
If they are not booked, a warning icon will appear indicating the details of the ancillary that was not confirmed.
Additionally, the associated EMD number for the requested extra will be notified, as well as in the booking history.
If you have a consolidator role:
- From the reservation details in Servicing, under the "Booking Informations" tab, you can verify the extras requested for each passenger, the amount, and the status.
HK means that the request is confirmed. To check if it has been issued, you should verify that there is an EMD number in the ticket box as well as in the "Booking History" details.
If the status is RQ or PN, the request has not been confirmed by the company and no extra ticket has been issued. In this case, you need to check the status with the provider and re-quote and issue it manually.
- To obtain a report and keep track of the status of the contracted ancillaries, you can download the ancillary report from Servicing > Reports.
In column K, you will be able to view the ancillary request status for each reservation.
