Wings is the platform's flight search engine, which allows you to quote and compare air travel options to put together the most convenient booking for each client. From one single place, you can define the trip type, origin, destination, dates, passengers, class, and currency, and access results from multiple airlines and sources.
Wings can be accessed from the left-side menu, either from the "Home" section or the "Wings" section.
Main elements of the search engine:
History: displays the user's most recent flight searches.
Trip type: can be One-way, Round trip, or Multi-city.
From: departure city or airport.
To: destination city or airport.
Date: travel date selector.
If the customer has the Heat Map module enabled, the calendar will display dates highlighted according to the fare level:
🟢 Green: lowest fares
🟡 Yellow: mid-range fares
🔴 Pink/Red: highest fares
Passengers and cabin class: number of passengers and cabin class.
Currency: displayed according to the sales channel configuration defined by each customer.
Book as separate segments: checkbox that allows searching for and booking each leg of the trip separately. For more information, see the article How to search and book separate flight segments?
Once all fields have been completed, click Search to display the flight search results.
PRICE GRID
For customers who have the Price Trend Grid module enabled, the search results will include a Price Grid tab alongside the Airlines tab. This comparison view cross-references departure and return dates, making it easy to identify the most cost-effective travel date combinations.
Grid structure
Columns (horizontal): departure dates.
Rows (vertical): return dates.
Each cell: represents a possible outbound and return date combination, with a color indicator showing its relative price level.
At the top of the grid, you'll find the color legend indicating the price level for each combination.
At the bottom of the grid, the Best combinations for the selected period section displays a list of the most convenient date combinations, sorted and labeled accordingly.
To continue with the flight selection and booking process, you can refer to all the articles available in the Wings section.
