We have two methods for accessing the Wings platform. The activation of these methods is performed by Starlings.
This feature is configured at the consolidator level and applies to all users of the consolidator and its agencies.
If a user belongs to more than one consolidator and different methods are configured, the system will automatically enable the most secure method (TOTP) for the user.
TOTP (time-based one time password) - 2FA
This system requires an authentication app to be downloaded to the mobile phone (e.g., Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).
The first time you log into the platform, you will be prompted to enable the authentication factor.
Click on Enable 2FA
It will ask for your password again.
Once the app is downloaded, follow the steps provided in the pop-up window:
- Scan the QR code.
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app (note that the code is valid for 20 seconds).
- Click Verify to complete the setup.
A window will open confirming the authentication and offering the option to download recovery codes in case you lose access to the app.
Click Finish, and you will be redirected to the Starlings platform.
This process is done only once. After scanning the QR code in your app, each time you access the platform, only the verification code from the app will be requested.
OTP (one time password)
The OTP system allows you to receive a code via email.
Once you receive the code, enter it to complete the login process.
After verifying and accepting the code, you will successfully log in and be redirected directly to the Starlings platform.
