To activate Sabre content with your own credentials, it is essential that we carry out a brief process with Sabre to create a new iPCC. The process is outlined below and consists of 4 simple steps.
| 1. Request your Sabre executive to sign a Downline Agreement to work with Starlings Travel. | 2. Sign the documentation requested by Sabre (Downline Agreement and BFM Annex). | 3. The executive will activate the agency in the marketplace, where you will find us under the name "Starlings Travel." | 4. Once the iPCC is created, Sabre will activate the Bargain Finder Max. |
1. Request your Sabre executive to sign a Downline Agreement to work with Starlings Travel. In this request, specify that the credentials should be configured for Automated Exchanges and Automated Refunds.
2. Your Sabre executive will send you two documents that you will need to sign digitally to proceed with the agreement: the Downline Agreement and a BFM annex.
a. Downline Agreement
b. Anexo de BFM
In the annex, you will need to choose an option for BFM. This cost varies based on the usage of the functionality and will depend on how many search result options you want Sabre to provide to the agency.
3. Once both contracts are signed, the Sabre executive will need to activate your agency through the Sabre marketplace. You will find us in the marketplace under the name "Starlings Travel."
At this point, it is important that the emails of the agency and the developer (in this case, Starlings) are assigned for the individuals who will receive the credentials once they are ready. It is crucial to be attentive to receiving them, as the passwords provided expire 24 hours after receipt.
IMPORTANT
Once the request is approved, the agency will receive an email with the credential details and a temporary password valid for 24 hours (in two separate emails). To avoid expiration, the agency must change the temporary password to a permanent one.
Below is an example of how to change the temporary password to a permanent one:
1- The agency will receive two emails from Sabre:
- The other with the temporary password, for example:
"Here is your temporary password:Temporary password: 1Y2M3QP4"
2- With these details, you should log in to the Sabre Central platform.
https://accounts.havail.sabre.com/login/sc
3-Complete the fields with the temporary password, for example:
4- On the next screen, you will enter the temporary password and create a new one.
If you receive an error message with the new password, you can click on "Password Rules" on the same page to see the requirements for the new password.
Example of a successful change:
5- The new permanent password must be provided to Starlings along with the email containing the credential details and the following information for configuration:
Additionally, the following configuration validations will be required:
- Verify that BFM is active.
- Verify that Branch access to PCCs/OIDs is enabled if required.
- Verify that the credentials are configured for Automated Exchanges and Automated Refunds.
Automated exchange - W/AR¥* (WFRF)
Automated refund - W/ARF¥* (WFRA)
- Verify the following configurations ((TJR Edits) Travel Journal Record) in the Sabre PCC (this is done by a user with SI9 profile from the agency).
